The Grand Mayan pool setting is beautiful.

More from Beth and her family about Vidanta Riviera Maya

October 9, 2020

The photos in this update show the beach, Salum in at night, pools and restaurants. Beth and her family were visiting Vidanta Riviera Maya during the last weeks in September when the weather was beautiful and skys were relatively clear.

Later, during the month of October, Hurricane Delta drove through. The center of the storm hit land not far away at Puerto Morelos. Bob M was there when the hurricane hit, and he sent photos of the property after the storm passed by. Fun comparison! Enjoy!!

Salum at night - beautiful! Is this what is in store at Nuevo Vallarta? Stay tuned...

Restaurants at Riviera Maya - Two of many...

Cafe del Lago at night.

Havana Moon during the day.

Jungala - lots of room to enjoy now. In fact, the venue may be closed until November.

The latest map of Jungala suggests the addition of two more slides.

The guide to the Jungala map.

The Lazy River is huge! No idea how long it takes to float the whole trip. Let us know....

The wave pool looks fabulous, don't you think?

There are many swimming pools at Vidanta Riviera Maya.

The Luxxe Pool is secluded and quiet. Here is where you read a book or just relax.

The Grand Mayan Pools are always a hit because of the surroundings.

Another example of the Grand Mayan Pool area.

The Sanctuary is part of the Grand Mayan pool area. The partial shade offers much relief from that hot sun in the summer.

The Mayan Palace pools are the largest of the pools, and they are very popular during the high season.

You can see how much pool area there actully is. Huge!

The Mayan pools have plenty of places to swim.

Another area of the expansive Mayan pools.

Some of the fountains are lit at night making the area very colorful.

Some of the pool areas are surrounded by foliage.

Then other parts of the Mayan Pools are wide open, punctuated by peninsulas.

Last but not least, the beachclub and beach are popular. Terrific surroundings!

The beach club is used by Grand Luxxe and Grand Bliss members.

It is a very popular venue, and sometimes very difficult to access. That said, there is always the beach.

The beach is on the other side of the Beach Club.

It is beautiful now, and open to everyone.

The facilities on the beach are comfortable and varied.

This photo provides a view of the length of the beach and shows what the possibilities are.

Thank Beth and her son for this great photo update. BTW, Chris is next to Beth's son, not Beth....she says she doesn't do photos...lol

Thank you Beth for sharing your trip to Riviera Maya with us. Looks beautiful, and it is perfect for family vacations. Enjoy your stay and let us know how about your visit.
