The Changing Mayan Palace - Actively Now - More From "Boots"

May 1, 2013

May Day! Happy first day of May! This Northern Hemisphere festive day dates to the pre-Christian era and is exactly 6 months from November 1, which is another cross quarter day, also related to Northern Hemisphere ancient celebrations. May 1 is also 6 months and 11 days from our next visit. When we arrive, this is what we will see:

Earlier in the week Boots indicated there is a lot of construction activity in the Mayan Palace Plaza. We now understand whet he meant. There certainly is! Also, we can see the structure taking the shape of the architecural rendering. Very cool!

The question that remains unanswered at this time is what will the upper floors of the north tower become? The end of the north tower has also changed, and we are sure there is an explanation. It seems we all must....Stay Tuned.
Thank you again Boots....we all hope you are enjoying your retirement by the pool....
