Freddy Knox Needs Your Help

October 21, 2021

Update - November 11, 2021 - Goal achieved in less than 21 days!
On behalf of Freddy, thank you to everyone. You have made a tremendous difference in the lives of Freddy Knox, his wife and his family! Your gifts have been delivered to Freddy's account, and they have provided a financial safety net during this difficult transition period.

Freddy Knox is experiencing difficult times brought on by the drop in tourism in Nuevo Vallarta. Companies throughout the region are reducing staff members or reducing pay to staff members who choose to stay where they are. Grupo Vidanta is no different.

Add to the shortage of money during these difficult economic times, medical expenses are rising because his wife is battling cancer. It has been at least a three year battle. In 2020, Freddy's wife's condition worsened. They had to move from Nuevo Vallarta to his wife's home town to be near home and be treated by her home doctor.

Needless to say, the stress of not knowing the future and not knowing how to pay for increasing costs is enormous. As you would expect, Freddy has tried to earn enough to pay for his rising expenses in his new environs. Taking odd jobs, working where and when he can has not covered his rising expenses.
Who is Freddy Knox?

Freddy has worked for Vidanta for 20 years. He started in sales, first in real estate with Mayan Island Real Estate in Acapulco. After a couple of years of selling Mayan Island Real Estate at the new Acapulco golf course, he joined vacation sales in the Mayan Palace division. This was a three or so year assignment, after which he worked in the Grand Mayan Vacation Club. During this period, management introduced the concept of "Waived Maintenance Fees" and Senior Certificates. These two programs were a success, as we all know. He then accepted a position in Customer Care, which is where he found his calling, so to speak. Six years ago, he started a new position as a VIP Concierge. His duties were to provide Vida Members with extra services that could not be obtained else where. He is very good at that and will return when his wife's condition improves.

We need to help the Knox family by giving what you can to a GoFundMe.com page Mary Ann and I created. GoFundMe charges less than 3% per gift, so you know a high percentage of donations will reach Freddy.
You all know Aimfair is devoted to sharing information about Grupo Vidanta, the Grand Luxxe Residence Club, the Estates and many other related subjects. This is our chance to help a very good person who is in desparate need of our help.
There are times in our lives when something little to us could mean somethig huge to Freddy and his family. Please help!
