Grupo Vidanta owns approximately 1,300 acres in a coastal area about 45 minutes North of San Jose del Cabo called East Cape. East Cape is “Off the Grid” and represents a new and potentially very popular resort option for members of the Grand Luxxe Residence Club. This photo shows the new giant V at the entry to Vidanta’s East Cape property off the East Cape Highway. The giant V is at the beginning of the new road that traverses very rough terrain to reach the beach along the shores of the Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California. The resort may open by the end of 2020.

East Cape Construction and Site

East Cape construction continues. Nice to see new areas being cleared for additional construction. There is no estimated completion date. However, rumors circulated that the project would not open until after The Park in Nuevo Vallarta opened. We will see.
