There’s nothing better than kicking back and relaxing in the sun on your Mexican holiday – except this.

Picture the most mesmerizing, colourful, and evocative theatrical production you can dream of transfigured into a massive theme park.

That’s just what Cirque du Soleil, the largest entertainment company in the world, has set out to do.

The Park will be visible from Highway 200, which passes over the bridge from and to Puerto Vallarta.

Cirque Du Soleil In Mexico
They’ve picked Mexico as the locale for the imagination metropolis. Here, guests can find themselves lost in a fantasy land that mirrors those spell-binding, acrobatic performances that they tour the world with.

Set in the beautiful Nuevo Vallarta, located on the Pacific side of Mexico near Puerto Vallarta, the Canadian company promises to transport guests into another world. The Cirque performances last all day long, and deliver interactive performances with interactive theatres and Cirque performers that move amongst the guests.

They also plan to give the park a lush, natural look with plenty of greenery. The park is meant to look like it is alive; growing from the ground and reaching toward the sun. An artificial, cheap look isn’t what they are going for here.

Plans are the displays, rides and features will be stunning and memorable. It will be fun to see the end product in November, 2018.

It will be decidedly unique in terms of amusement parks, as it won’t have a look catered toward the usual trend. Cirque wants to capture that dreamy and beautiful feeling that they are known for in their amazing performances.

They’ll have magical rides aplenty, but as to what rides they’ll be remains a mystery.

One thing is for certain: strolling through this theme park, appropriately called “The Park,” will be incredible. There is hydrotherapy for adults, waterparks for children, luxurious accommodations in three hotels, and delectable cuisine. And, with an expected 2.5 million visitors each year, the park has generated a great deal of anticipation.
What is interesting about this article is the statement that Cirque du Soleil has set out to make this a major entertainment feature in Nuevo Vallarta. It makes visitors come because of the Cirque du Soleil name. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
November, 2018 is only a year and a quarter away. Stay tuned....!
