The Residence at the Grand Luxxe

Reflections
Mary Ann and I had the opportunity to view a unit in the Residence Tower on New Year's Eve even though the elevators were not working. We walked up five flights of stairs and could not believe that there are members who are actually staying there walking up and down each day. After catching our breath we entered the unit from the service hallway through the laundry room quickly moving in front of the elevator in order to get the real impact of entering into the spacious living and dining areas.
A wall of glass windows and doors opens to a specacular deck and the ocean view beyond. This deck has an oval shaped tile pool and extends in front of the master bedroom. There are sofas, a pair of chaise lounges and a dining table for six. The views from front and back decks are 180 degrees and spectacular.
Back inside we inspected the kitchen with dishwasher, oven and island area with seating for four. Adjacent to the dining table, seating ten, there is an area with a bar and stools plus a storage cabinet with glasses for various types of cocktails.
There are two separate bedroom wings, so to speak. The first area has two bedrooms, one of which is the Master Bedroom, and their own hall. The beautiful master bedroom in this area faces west with views of the ocean and includes a king bed, seating area, large bathroom with a tub and walk in closet. The smaller bedroom at the east end of the hall has two queen beds, a separate bath and access to the same deck as above.
The second set of two bedrooms also have their own baths. One of the bedrooms is a "Second Master" bedroom with a king bed, bath tub and walk-in closet. The other has two queen beds. These two bedrooms open to a nice size deck that overlooks the mountains, golf courses, the Ameca river and vistas to the north.
The furnishings throughout are in soft tones of browns and off whites with accents of light turquoise.
The spaciousness of this lovely “home†is ideal for a large family or for several couples wanting to share a vacation together yet still wanting to have their privacy.
We are certain all members who own Residence unit contracts will thoroughly enjoy these units. Elevators open directly to the unit. And a rooftop pool and restaurant along with the golf pro shop and "19th Hole" on the south side of the ground floor will make living in the unit very convenient.

The Deck of the Grand Luxxe Residence
We all agree, the decks are huge. We also suspect the decks will be more comfortably furnished with more experience.

Videos From the Decks on December 31, 2014
Views from the east and west decks of each Residence Unit are stunning! Of course, in the videos that follow there is considerable construction taking place. The area west of the residence Tower along the Ameca River will become lush with vegetation. We have seen it happen before. The area north, which is now a large hole in the ground, will be a lagoon surrounded by vegetation. Walkways are already under construction. Those members who are lucky enough to visit the property in February will see an entirely different, more complete view of the property.
The east views will be changing as well. Tower 5 is under construction now. Additionally, we are told by the sales department that the driving range and golf pro shop will be on the east side of the buiding. Yes, there will be a lot of change ove the next two years.
