Steve and Lyn wanted you to know about their experience when they visited Puerto Penasco and see the beauty they saw on their last trip. They feel the draw back of being 25 minutes away from the town is over ridden by the location's beauty and scerenity. Oh, by the way, the golf course is second to none, and you will have no trouble playing this course.....every day. Here are their comments:
On another note, just wanted to let you and others know that we just spent a week at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Penasco and had a wonderful time. It's another beautiful Mayan resort, a little smaller and a little quieter than the larger resorts, but still had all the quality and friendliness we've become accustomed to.

It has one of the most beautiful beaches we've seen, and the Caribbean-like blue water is amazing, a balmy 85 -90 degrees, very easy to get in to.

We took a van shuttle, "Headout to Rocky Point", they picked us up in Phoenix, and dropped us off, door to door, then returned a week later for the return trip for $150/person return. The driver was great, very informative, and made us feel very comfortable on the drive there and back. Highly recommended for those who don't want to do the drive themselves, but we all agreed we would feel comfortable trying that at another time.

The food at the restaurants on site was also very good, but there is a Mexican Walmart and a Sam's Club in town if you choose to cook yourself, as well as some highly recommended establishments in Rocky Point.

The resort itself is a bit isolated from the town but there was something really nice about getting up in the morning and walking the expansive beach, and taking in some of the most beautiful sunrises with no one else around!

My husband and friends golfed at the course on site, and couldn't say enough about it, they loved it! They couldn't believe how beautiful it was and commented about what great shape the fairways and greens were in. All in all, it was another great week enjoying what the Mayan vacations have to offer.

Also just wondered if you have heard of the company "Global Marketing"? It was mentioned to us by our sales rep in Puerto Penasco. Did not want to mention this on the Owner's Forum just yet. I would appreciate any information about this company you might have.
Wonderful reveiw, Lyn and Steve. Thank you for your comments and photos. They give us a new appreciation for the Mayan Palace at Puerto Penasco.

Regarding Global Marketing, we know nothing about this company. Perhaps others do. Maybe you could ask on the Forum.
