Newly posted warning: T-PS 2018Aug28 Asset Real Estate Investments - AREI

An Aimfair member sent the following information to keep people aware. Asset Real Estate Investments is a close representation of an active LLC in Missouri called Asset Realestate Investments LLC. Very close, don't you think?

The domain for the company in question is Assetrealestateinvestments.com. It was created on January 6, 2018 and expires on January 6, 2019. This is a far different timeline than what was described on the company website, which states the company history dates back to 1995. Also, the headquarters address is not the same as the address provided in the Secretary of State's records.

We just received a call from the listing agent for the address listed on the assetrealestateinvestments.com website. He confirmed that Asset Real Estate Investments does not pay rent to the building and does not have an office in the building. In fact, the agent said his company is in the process of filiing a formal complaint with the Missouri Secretary of State's office about the false claims made by Asset Real Estate Investments. Thank you for your valuable information and confirmation that the company does not have an office in the building.

Following is the correspondence we received:

The caller offers to rent weeks, pay the owner a large sum of money for the rental and owner must pay upfront fees to a "Title Company" selected by the renter. Owner's money is gone!

This is the "offer". Note the loose language. Do not pay for anything in advance unless you can completely trust the individual or company.

The bottom line is there are more questions raised than answered. So we would not get involved with a company that is not very tranparent.
