The Lakes Course in Nuevo Vallarta is a beautiful emerald looking course in this photo. Price to play is $59 US, so not many players yet. But it looks like fun with the challenge of keeping your ball dry!
The Start of a New Season

November begins the Season and friends start their annual migration to Family Fun in Mexico.Our favorite time has been November because of the change in weather and water temperature. Warm during the day and less warm at night, and the ocean temperature is perfect!

Good to hear from you. The lakes course looks beautiful but we haven’t played it. It is getting minimal use. The rack fee is $59 which is quite a bit for 11 holes.Thank you for your update. Perfect way to start the New Season. Good to see that at least one suggestion from the 2017 Aimfair Gatherings was realized: Faster Internet Speeds!
Nothing new here at Nuevo. I’m afraid that most suggestions have been ignored. The Nicklaus course is completely walled in so everyone is captive to the resort.
No more wine for platinum members upon check-in and goodies at night is not given on a consistent basis—I miss my chocolate covered strawberries on Saturday nights.
However, upgraded internet is now given to platinum members and it is wonderful.
We went on a presentation but did not upgrade. We are not interested in the Estates but they pushed it hard. Too many unanswered questions about the entire project. Don’t know maintenance fee, completion date and many other unanswered questions.
It is just as beautiful as always. Seems to be a little short of staff but may improve with high season. In the 2 weeks that we have been here — several conventions were held. I think that will be lucrative for them but worry about room availability for members.
