- First a company named Happy Day Vacations called and claimed to have a buyer for my timeshare. They said their buyer was willing to pay X number of dollars. They emailed a 'contract' for us to sign, which we did.
- Then they handed us off to the 'escrow agent', Harry A. Ferguson, Jr, of City Group Holdings. In the contract we agreed to pay 8% commission. They want us to send them the commission in order to receive the X number of dollars paid by the purchaser. To The Point: Never Pay Anything Before Getting What You Bargained For!

- So far, it sounds the same as above.
- We have a contract that I forwarded to a lawyer for review. I talked to Mayan who warned me of the scan from other customers who have been burned.
- I sent a message to Happy Days yesterday stating, I would not transfer any money until money was in my account with a 3 day wait period to confirm funding. I have not heard back from them.....
If you come across Happy Day Vacations, you might take into consideration the experiences of others before agreeing to pay a commission in advance of receiving payment for your timeshare.
Also note: City Group Holdings works with a number of these questionable companies. Be very aware of this group!
