Property Management Professionals - Possible Advance Fee Scam

An Aimfair member nominated this company to the Hall of Shame. The Hall of Shame is made up of noteworthy companies that are alleged to participate in Advance Fee Scams.

What do we know about Property Management Professionals?

• The name is registered dba of a company called CRES Enterprises.

• CRES Enterprises has an address at PO Box 2308, Oakland, CA 94614.
• The main office is listed at 276 Hegenberger Road, Suite 300, Oakland, CA 94621.
• The phone numbers are disconnected.
• Property Management Professionals, which is not a company that is licensed with the State of California provides on its website an address of 40 S. Market Street, Suite 400, San Jose, CA 90113. The company's website is http://www.propertymanagementprofessionalsca.com. It appears the domain was created on July 10, 2013. The telephone number on the website is (408) 905-2171.
• The company located at the address of 40 S. Market Street, 4th Floor, San Jose, CA 90113 is RMW Architecture and Interiors. The telephone number is 408-294-8000. This company has offices in San Jose, San Franciso and Sacramento.
• There is a company named Property Management Professionals LLC. It is a licensed LLC in California located at 27413 Tourney Road, Suite 100, Valencia, CA 91355. The Agent for Service of Process is Mr. Brad Watson. The company has offices in Valencia (661) 295-1553 or (661) 295-4900 or (310) 694-0600 or (805) 642-2400.

This is a clear case of purposeful confusion.

• Note the following Scam Alert issued by the alleged company is unrelated to the activity of selling timeshare weeks:

• There is no evidence Property Management Professionals is located at the address it provides on its website.
• There is no evidence Property Management Professionals is associated with a legitimate company called Professional Management Professionals LLC, which is licensed with the state of California.
• There is no evidence the company that is registered with the California Department of Real Estate as CRES Enterprises is doing business as Property Management Professionals, which is a fictitious name associated with CRES Enterprises.
• No telephone calls to CRES Enterpises were returned.

Bottom line: Let's use the Scam Warning it sends out and be very careful about this company. This is the fourth case of possible impersonation. Or, its the fourth case of a scam unearthed by our members.
