Riviera Maya Photo Update - Gina Marie
May 17, 2014
Gina Marie took photos of the Cirque du Soleil theater and the Beach Pool area on May 11, 2014 and has shared them with us. Although the beach pool and club house will be a welcomed addition by Grand Bliss and Luxxe owners, the Cirque du Soleil structure is truly impressive. Consider the following rendering:Cirque du Soleil
What isn't shown are the water parks and other structures that will also be in the area. Consider the following plans:
If the outcome of the current construction is anything like the plan depicted above, then water depth in the lagoons that surround the Dinner Theater and other sturctures could be 12 to 20 feet deep. In addition, there will be a Nature Park too, and it is unclear what the depth of the water in the Water Park will be. Regardless, the walls in the lagoons are huge! Consider the following photos:
The structure is pretty large, considering the size of the roof relative to the men woking on the roof. The Thatch is innerwoven with the metal mesh the men are installing on the roof. The structural tubes that support the structure are huge. Then, look at the subterranean walls. They are easily 16 feet tall. According to the plan, that will be the depth of the water surrounding three sides of the theater and all sides of the Vidanta and General Reception structures. Indeed, the area will be a draw and the structure will be stunning.
The Beach Club and Pool Area - Under Construction
It is said the Beach Club and Pool Area will serve the needs of owners of Grand Bliss and Grand Luxxe contracts. This area is pretty close to the Grand Bliss units but quite a distance from units in the Grand Luxxe buildings. It will be ineresting to see the number of Luxxe owners who will venture to the new Beach Club.Granted, it does look impressive in this rendering:
Construction of the pools is progressing nicely.
