Ron's Photographic Report - Nuevo Vallarta

January 20, 2012

Aimfair members get the most out of their prepaid vacations. They travel to places they enjoy and enjoy their stays. Some stays are for months at a time, which is more time used than many of our friends who own vacation homes.

Meet Ron. He and his wife are avid travelers. They provided us with many photos and videos of the Grand Luxxe while it was under construction in January 2010, 2011 and now in 2012. They also were in Riviera Maya in March of 2010 and 2011.

Someone once said a photo is worth a thousand words. Well, Ron has been very verbose through the quantity of his photos. Nice to know we can see changes and know what to expect when we visit one of the seven Grupo Vidanta properties through the generous efforts of Ron and others to keep us up to date.

Here are Ron's images of Nuevo Vallarta in January, 2012:

It is interesting to see how the ramp to the fourth floor of Grand Luxxe III A and B looks now. The fourth photo from the left shows the roadway is in place and graceful. The bridge, linking the roadway to the building at the top of a pyramid is in place. It will be interesting to see how the fourth floor actually evolves....open to the elements or not.

Also, the Train Station / Reception Area is almost complete.

Clearly, the south tower of the Mayan Palace is no longer. We have heard it will be replaced by a spa. Then we heard it will be open space. Only time will tell for sure.

Terrific photographic update, Ron. Great to see your views of Nuevo Vallarta this year. Many changes over the last two years and much expansion!

Thank you Ron...let's all stay tuned....
