Signage, Walkways, The Punta Pool and Waterway by SEW

Suzie is in Nuevo Vallarta now and sent us her update along with some great photos. They make you feel you are looking through a window. Here is what she had to say in her comments:
We are here now and can't get over the changes. I attached a few pics.
We are staying in GL tower III construction going on all around. Members are complaining of the long walks over the bridges which are cedar planked but very raw wood at the moment.
They are now using the Santuario as the central station for all shuttles. If you want a cab you have to shuttle to Santuario first. If you go to Grand Mayan, you have to shuttle to Santuario then transfer. When we arrived, we were dropped off at the Santuario and and no one was there to direct us. This Santuario is huge. Finally we found our way to the front where they took our luggage into storage. Then we shuttled over to Tower III to check in.
Rooms were not ready and we were told 5:00pm so we had a 4 hour wait with no access to our luggage.
I was surprised there was no welcome drinks. I had to ask about them and was a bit embarassed with our guests. Our wrist bracelet is also the key to our room, a pretty smart idea.
Once in our room we had to call for our luggage and wait for it so it was quite late by the time we were able to find dinner. The workers said all this new system had just started last week so they are just getting used to it too.
All and all, this location is magnificent and if you want any specific pics let me know. Golf course is complete and great. Got our tee times before we left which was a good thing. Golf course is packed all the time. Ground is broke on the new Norman course but not visible. We are enjoying the punta pool at this end but quite a far walk to get there. My flip flops are not cutting it! This pool area is spectacular and right off the beach too. Anyway, we are reacquainting ourselves with everything new and for the most part, loving it. Take care.
