Luxxe Presidential Villa - Punta Tower, Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico

November 11, 2011

The Luxxe Presidential Villas at the Punta Tower Soft Opening began this weekend. Very quietly, at that....because another building was opening at the same time. This new opening was in the Grand Luxxe Tower III A building. Additionally, the south tower of the Mayan Palace was undergoing a demolition process and the new Train Station/Reception Building was adding steel girders and supports. Bottom line....lots of noise and inconvenience.

Regardless, the Punta Tower was open for guests.

Fourteen of the units in the Punta are called Presidential Villas. These are spacious (Approximately 4,200 SF) three bedroom units that are nicely laid out. They are comprised of two units that can be used independently. The two bedroom unit is called an Exclusive Master Villa and the one bedroom unit is called an Exclusive Villa. Although the Presidential Villa is an upgrade to the Grand Luxxe Villa, contrary to the rumors spread by overly zealous sales staff, there are no ovens or dish washers. That said, the kitchen counters are longer than the counters in the Villas and Suites. Also, the central seating area is more cozy.

The real attraction to us still is the large sized, accordion glass doors. The outdoors enters the living area and the indoors blends with the outside when the doors are fully open.

These are truly wonderful units for families and groups of couples. Plenty of room for all to interact with each other.

We wondered what types of units would be in the Punta building. Now we know. Presidential Villas, which are rumored to be in Grand Luxxe Tower V, which is not yet fully under construction.

Lots of interesting change will be taking place over the next four or five years, for sure! In the interim, take advantage of using a portion of the Presidential Villa. It is worth the test drive.

The Grand Luxxe Punta building at Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico is a unique building. It is located furthest to the beach and may be made up of 3 bedroom units, only. We say "may be" because we do not know the actual configuration for sure.

What we do know is the building could fit a configuration that was sent in by a fellow member.

Take a look at the following images and you be the judge. Imagine turning the images of the floor plans so the decks are on the north and south sides of the building.

Of course, the fifth and sixth floors appear to be exclusive floors and very different from the lower four floors.

Please note: We are speculating as the the designation of the units. These may not be called Presidential Grand Luxxe or Grand Luxxe Exclusive Master Villa or Grand Luxxe Exclusive Villa. If they are not, then there will be three additional Grand Luxxe configurations we all will be able to understand. What fun!!!

Thank you all for contributing to this collage.
