Golf Academy - What We Learned

Our end of March trip lasted only a week. But did we have fun!

We are interested in golf. Our goal is to learn to play better than we do now.

Consequently, we asked a few questions about the Nicklaus Golf Academy that is scheduled to open toward the end of April, 2012. We became aware of the Academy when we read a PRNewswire article posted by NewsBlaze.com. The news release was dated June 9, 2011. In this release, Vidanta Golf announced Nayar Vidanta Golf Center would open in late Spring.

Well, questions were answered and then some.

• Yes, the Academy is scheduled to open in late April or early May, 2012.
• Yes, we can see the area and where it is located on the property.
• When would you like to go?
• Yes, you can take some photos.

So, here are our photos and explanations. Recognize that there is a bit of work to do before the gates open for use. It is always interesting to see the "before" and "after" because you know the after will be terrific.

However, when they do open later this month, visitors will not only be able to use the facilities, which by the way are very beautiful, but also visitors will gain an interesting perspective of the vast nature of the property. What a place!!

First, let's answer the question: "Where is the Nicklaus Golf Academy relative to future buildings and features?"

Here is a schematic rendition of the proximity of the Golf Academy in relation to the other attractions that will be located at the east end of the property:

Clearly, the drawing is not to scale nor is it meant to be anything more than a document that provides points of reference.

In the following photos, the Golf Academy driving range grass is growing. Imagine the range as the ground area that extends from the left of the orange bubble marking the Golf Academy. Also, nothing else is built. This will all come in the next couple of years. If you want a full understanding of the future plans, attend your Members Update. Very informative, indeed.

BTW, the Nicklaus Golf Academy is located where all the other action will be located in the future.

The Nicklaus Golf Academy is located at the east end of the property, in the areas of the 13th and 14th holes.
