An Aimfair Member described the following transaction proposed by Exotic Travel Solutions:
- The deal:
- Company proposes to rent weeks and pay $7,000 per week.
- Company must check title and requests $992 from the Luxxe member.
- Company tells Luxxe member the money is guaranteed by a Henderson based company called United World Escrow. The Luxxe member said the company is not listed as a Nevada Corporation nor can the address be verified.
- Once Company agent returns, he says the Luxxe member's title is clear and he now needs $15,500 to pay Mexican Federal Taxes.
- Luxxe member calls us and asks us to post the details to alert others.
- Luxxe member does not believe he will get his guaranteed money back.

Points to keep in mind:
- Rental amount: $7,000 per week or thereabouts. It varies.
- Title Fee - $992.00 or thereabouts, sent to a bank in Mexico. Purported to be reimbursed but none has been yet.
- Mexican Tax - 5% or more of the total to receive. Paid up front. In this case, the amount requested after "Title Clearance" was about $15,600.
- If there is a Closing Company, there could be a Cancellation Fee - $3,500 if you change your mind.
- No Closing Company that we know of.
- Limitations in Contract - one year to bring action against the company. Otherwise ability to bring action might be waived.
