Riviera Maya Update - Nino

Nino was with friends in Riviera Maya during the week of November 10, 2014. Here are his comments:
I was in Riviera Maya the week of November 10th with some friends to see the PGA Mayakoba. We had a great time and enjoyed the golf tournament. We stayed in a three bedroom Grand Luxxe spa unit, and were very happy with the Luxxe unit and overall service.
We went to the new Cirque de Soleil show that was excellent, as well as the meal. They didn't allow us to take any pictures during the show.
The new Grand Luxxe lobby and French Restaurant opened on the last day of our visit. I have posted some pictures taken during the preparations for opening. They appear below:

As an update, the new Beach club and Luxxe spa/gym are not open. My guess is that these venues will not open until mid-2015 based on the amount of construction still left to be completed.
Overall, I am very pleased with the Riviera Maya resort, and will just keep getting better with the improvements.
