June 23, 2016:
The Norman course is Dec. No resident can get to it to look.Tower 5 does have the pro shop and caddy and cart start, but it is a long long drive to new hole 1 near the driving range and #18 ends there.
There is some Chavez dredging of the river going on, this may help.

Ps caddy told me no more than 50 golfers per day playing and Carlos is sending out 1 caddy per cart and he drive unless it is a " couple".
June 24, 2016:
Wow what a project.Workers like ants every where.
Lots of concrete and curing to be done plus hopefully some extended guard rails. Looks magnificent as does all Vidanta does.
Carlos confirmed driving range to be demolished as will be a few holes 1,2,17,18 maybe to build Circus Soleil.
No idea where Pro Shop will be. Anyway rip rap rocks have been put on river banks as well as some dredging activity everyday. No rain 2 weeks, but humidity is close to max.

Jim still here for another week.
The back nine opened today after 3 weeks. They are now forecasting Norman to open in Dec. The bridge over the River looks like a replica of the Golden Gate. The supports are in and the "highway" now needs to be built. It is between hole 5&6 of the present course and near Tower 6 (under construction).

Looks like the pro shop will ultimately be where the Driving Range is now located. They now have a food truck @ the range and wet bar.
There continues to be discussion if the Norman course is included in the " free golf" that some of us have in our contracts.
