Grand Mayan Pool and Tower - Nuevo Vallarta, MX

Photo Update From Rich Krebs - Grand Mayan and Grand Bliss

December 19, 2021

Rich and his family had a wonderful time at the Nuevo Vallarta property during the second half of November, 2021. He took a lot o photos of the property, wildlife on the property, views of the property from the water and some really fun excursions. Yes, he even saw whales coming to the surface. He was generous enough to share his photographic experiences with us all. Very fun, and thank you so much.

The Grand Mayan pools continue to be attractive and appealing. The lead photo shows how beautiful the pool is, and only a part of the pool is shown. It is very large! This will be the Luxxe de Luxxe pool area once the units are built.

We move on from the Grand Mayan to Condos on the beach and golf course, to the Grand Bliss tower and on to the beach. Then he takes a ride on the SkyDream gondola to the Rivierwalk Station at Tower Five and views of the new Kingdom of the Sun. You can see that the ratio of guest to space is very high. Here we go....
Individually Owned Condos
This condo tower is located along the 17th fairway of the Nayar Course. It was likely one of the first structures built on the property.

The condos along the beach are beautiful too. What a view and great location. We have heard condo owners can access the Vidanta amenities.

The condos along the beach are very close to the last Grand Mayan Tower built. It was finished in 2008.

The Grand Mayan Towers
There is a lovely lagoon and dock area on the beach side of the last Grand Mayan tower. The Turtle Hatchery is not far away toward the ocean and north of the lagoon.

The Grand Mayan towers are connected and extend past the pool to the Grand Bliss lagoon.

The Grand Bliss Tower
The next tower to be introduced was the Grand Bliss Tower. It opened in 2009 or so about when the Grand Luxxe Towers opened.

The Grand Bliss Tower is a striking tower that overlooks the ocean to the west and the Sierra Madre mountains to the east. The SkyDream Parks are also visible, with the prominant Kingdom of the Sun Towers in full view.

The Beach Area
Moving toward the beach, we pass the backside of the waterslide that empties into a large pool area that is shared by two wave pools. The grand kids loved those pools when they were younger.

Just beyond the wave pools is the entrance to the beach. Palapas are all over for your enjoyment.

These palapas are serviced by the Ola Mulata restaurant, which is on the elevated walkway next to the beach entrance.

Farther down the beach, crews are getting ready to set up a beach party. Or, maybe they are taking everthing down from a resort dinner beach party affair. These are wonderful venues.

Passing Grand Bliss Pool Bar to SkyDream Gondola Ride
The new Grand Bliss Pool Bar used to be Chiringuitos. It was a great place for Tapas. Now, the restaurant closes at 6 PM instead of 10 PM, which was Chiringuitos closing time. Miss it!!

A new structure is under construction next to the Grand Bliss Pool and at the foot of SkyDream Gondola Station #1. It has an infinity pool on its roof. Looks pretty cool, but they need to take away the hose.....Stay tuned....open over the Holidays?

Getting on the SkyDream Gondola at the Grand Bliss Station #1
Getting on the SkyDream Gondola at the Grand Biss station takes us East toward the Santuario and then South toward the Residence Tower. Great fun!

Looking out across the property from the SkyDream Gondola provides a terrific appreciation for the work done over the last 10 years. There is more to come.

Kingdom of the Sun towers show where the SkyDream Park is located. Phase One may open toward the end of 2022.

As we move toward the Riverwalk Station, the Kingdom of the Sun towers are in plain view, and there is the Celebrate Park Resort Hotel under construction next to Tower 6.

Christmas is coming. The Christmas Tree is being decorated in November. Here come the Holidays!
Now, the Christmas Tree is under construction and will be in full glory when we arrive Christmas Day.

Thank you Rich for your update on Nuevo Vallarta. Beautiful photos. More to come....
