Finally.... the minutes to the January 8, 2020 Gathering are here.

It was a large group. We estimate over 90 people attended. The attendees included Subscribing Members of Aimfair, Registered Members and friends/guests. It was lively.

We had two Vida Vacations representatives there to answer questions they could. Unfortunately, there was just too little time for them to prepare. Consequently, answers to questions in many cases were not definitive. Jeff Tymco and Natasha from Vida Vacations did the best they could under the circumstances.

It is important to note that the Gatherings are not a substitute for the Sales Updates. Sales personnel are to provide information about the questions listed below as well as answers to other questions you may have. Jeff asked us all to let him know if the information provided at the Update is inadequate or if the process was uncomfortable for you. There has to be a balance between providing information and selling products.

BTW, we would be interested in knowing if you asked these and other questions at your update. If so, please provide your summary so we can all keep updated.

Questions Contributed by Aimfair Members:

1. Will The Little Gate at the 17th hole tee box open for member use? Answer: Yes. It is now open daily from 7 AM to 10:30 PM every day.
   • There are two ways to use this access/egress point:
     • Walk on the golf cart path beyond the Spatium to the 17th hole tee box. Be very careful to avoid carts and golf balls!
     • Walk from the taxi stand through the parking lot toward the original property entrance. At the end of the road, you will be able to walk the cart path to the 17th hole tee box.
   • The gate is now manned and will allow guests to leave and return through this entry point during the hours of operation.
2. Beach Club now under construction
   • Will there be a Beach Club similar to the one in Riviera Maya? Answer: Yes.
   • When is it planned to open? Answer: There is no officially announced completion date yet. Work is progressing. Speculation: more construction will take place during the summer months when occupancy is low.
   • Who can use - Platinum, Member, Guest, Estates? Answer: There is nothing to use, so there are no rules of use provided at this time. Rules of use are premature at this time.
3. Celebrity Luxxe -
   • What is it? Answer: The Celebrity Luxxe was the larger unit on the 4th floor of the Punta Tower. This was reported in 2011 by Westwinds. There may be new units that carry that designation now. Stay tuned.
   • Where is it? - The Celebrity Luxxe was reportedly 12,000 SF and is the ocean side of the 4th floor in the Punta Tower. Answer: The fianal configuration and location is still to be determined.
4. Luxxe DeLuxxe Units
   • Also called Luxxe Jungle Suites
   • These units are going to be located in the Grand Mayan - North Tower Answer: Correct.
   • When will they open? Answer: To be determined
5. East Cape
   • Estimated Completion Date Answer: Building is under construction now. New video shows additional areas being cleared in preparation for what appears to be additional construction.
6. Gondola Line
   • When will it be ready for use? Answer: To be determined. Construction continues. Rumors say December.
   • Will members be able to ride to the Highway side from the beach to catch a taxi going North? Answer: Silence
   • Will there be a charge to use the Gondola Line? Answer: Silence
     • If so, how much will it be? Answer: Silence
     • If not, will everyone be able to use the line at all hours? Answer:Silence
7. Grocery Delivery Service
   • Is this service available to guests in the following floor plans: Answer: The Hotel does not provide this service.
     • Residence Tower
     • Loft Residences (2 BR and 3 BR)
     • SPA Suites (2 BR and 3 BR)
     • Presidential Master Villas
   • How does one use this service? Answer: It is not available.
8. Celebrate Park Hotel Answer: Silence
   • What is it?
   • Who will be able to use the facilities?
     • Platinum Members

9. Estimated Opening Dates
   • Kingdom of the Sun - Answer: To be determined.
   • Cascades - Answer: To be determined.
   • The Park - Answer: To be determined. Only the owner can say when the Park will open. Changed designers Disney - reason for the delay.
10. Sale information Answer: Silence.
    • Is Vidanta considering contract buyback programs from their members?
    • Is Vidanta considering a rental program with member weeks?

12. Estates
    • Status - NV
      • Do you have updates to the planned layout of the property that you can share? We understand the layout has changed and building configurations have changed too. Answer: To be determined.
      • The latest map shows:
        • Five Pods like the one under construction now and five pods with six 4 BR units, twelve 2 BR units and twenty four 1 BR units per pod, and
        • More than five Pods with a wide wing like one of the wings in the above configuration and two wings with no two-story units. Answer: To be determined.
    • Status - RM - One Pod is under construction there, and a paved roadway is under construction. How many Pods will be on that property? Answer: To be determined.
    • Reservations - We heard the NV Pod will be occupied in December or January, and maybe reservations will be granted in March, 2020. Can you clarify the timing for us. Answer: To be determined.
    • Escape plans - Tsunami, Hurricane Answer: Silence.
    • How Many sold? Answer: This is not public information.
13. Cabo
    • Luxxe DeLuxxe in San Jose del Cabo? Answer: To be determined.
14. Puerto Penasco
    • Luxxe DeLuxxe in Puerto Penasco Answer: To be determined.
15. Concierge - Tower 4 SPA Floors - Major complaints Answer: This will be passed along to the hotel management.
16. Little Gate
    • Luxxe DeLuxxe owners receive a card to exit and enter property through the Little Gate - 17th Tee.
    • Will the card be used at the Grand Mayan guard gate as well? Answer: This will be passed along to the hotel management.
17. Travel North
    • When will north bound travel resume? Answer: Do not know.
    • Trucks currently access the highway using a dirt road. It seems this would be a good access road after dirt hauling trucks are finished with their work.
18. Meal Plans
    • Please provide updated copies of the meal plans. Requested from the Hotel.
    • How often do they change?
19. Cruise ship - Elegant - is now moored in Ensenada.
    • When are cruises to begin? Answer: To be determined.
    • How will they work and integrate with the week stays? Answer: To be determined.
    • Are meals included? Answer: To be determined.

In addition to the above questions and comments, there was some discussion about Scams and their persistent callers. One in particular looks and feels like a Vidanta offer. Upon close examination, it is not. Do not get fooled. Only we can stop scams by not sending them money.

After the meeting, a few members introduced themselves. They indicated an interest in working with Aimfair to present ideas to improve member experiences during their stays. We welcome the opportunity and will be opening discussions on how to implement the idea.
