Vida Sales and Management Convention in Spain

Home again, home again, jiggity jog.....a verse from a long time ago! But, that is what ran through our heads when we heard about the results from the annual Vidanta Convention held in Spain. The event was exciting and jam packed with updates.Here are some of the comments that were enhanced by new renderings of what might be in store for all of us:
Broad Scope Perspective: the company appears to be heading in a unified direction as one unified organization instead of seven independent locations competing against each other. We are not sure what this means to contract owners. But it could mean more centralized decision making on a daily basis. It also could mean a common sales position at all seven locations.
The second theme ties into the first in that 2019 marks the company's 45th year. Everyone in the company will be striving to make the 45th anniversary year a memorable one for returning visitors and new customers alike. There is a design group called the Rockwell Group that is advising management on ways to tie all the entertainment and other venues together in each location, to the extent possible. It appears the goals are to provide "wow!" experiences in each location, and these experiences will be generated by entertainment, restaurants and experiential activities.

Quote from Sales: Greg Norman has surveyed and plotted his 18 holes. The course is a very hilly course as our property goes from the sea of Cortez up the hill. Along with a championship course, we have a par three planned down at the Sea. The perimeter will be lined by condos escalating up from the Sea and lining the Golf Course.
Below the par three, will be a magnificent beach club. This beach club will be way beyond what we have produced to date.
Roads are in, land has been plotted.
Puerto Peñasco:
Puerto Penasco is expanding. Luxxe, Grand Bliss, Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace will soon be available.
As you can see, there is major planning for all types of inventory in this multi condo building. Behind the building is the integrated water park that will be a very comfortable 75-80 degrees all year around. We realize that being so close to the United States Border, and providing a beautiful drivable vacation is important. To appeal to all types of inventory members is also important from the least to the most invested.

Nuevo Vallarta:
Lots of changes are on the way. Consider the following:We are constructing a little city inside the dead area in front of the grand Bliss. This area is a big area that can be something special. Within this area you will find entertainment and a restaurant complex, beautiful walking areas, and gardens.
The lagoon in front of the Grand Bliss is going to change. Restaurants and entertainment venues? Stay tuned....!
I can say our relationship with Cirque du Soliel has never been stronger. Just like Cancun, we will have our permanent show and the ONLY Cirque Academy.

The Park is expanding and extending on both sides of Highway 200. You can see the lagoons in the foreground. No information is available at this time about this ares.

From the looks of it, the Water Park that is being described is the one near the Jungle Estates Towers. It too is scheduled to open in 2019.
