Promotions and Events in Nuevo Vallarta - Linda in Seattle (In NV)

Linda and Ken have been coming to Nuevo Vallarta for years before Aimfair was formed in 2008. Veterans! That's what they are.Yesterday, we recieved an mail from Linda in Seattle (She's actually in Nuevo Vallarta.) expressing her frustrations and did something to appease them. She wrote a post that she hopes will be beneficial to all viewers. The subject is Communication - What's Happening....

Ken and I are always frustrated because we never get a list of the resort promotions when we check-in each year. Today we sat down with the concierge at GL Nuevo and had him look up all the promotions for us. I thought you would like to post a list somewhere on aimfair.com.

Tuesday Tramonto Prime Rib Dinner $490 pesos. Wednesday Punta Arena Lobster Night $620 pesos Wednesday Punta Arena Surf and Turf Night $720 pesos Friday Tramonto Pasta Night $170 pesos Saturday Gong Peking Duck Night $479 pesos Sunday Burger Custom Made BBQ Night $450 pesos; there is also a combo meal for $800 pesos for 2

Tuesday Wine Tasting- GL Tower 1 Lobby Bar - Choose 5pm or 6pm start - $189 pesos to taste 3 Mexican wines plus snacks Wednesday Cooking Class - Epazote - From 1pm-4pm- $690 pesos - learn 3 recipes and then eat them Wednesday Progressive Dinner- 7pm - Four course menu at 4 restaurants plus cocktails/wine at each - dedicated tram for the group- $1300 pesos. (Different restaurants/courses than the Friday Progressive Dinner.) Thursday Tequila Tasting - GL Tower 1 Lobby Bar - Choose 5pm or 6pm start -$189 pesos to taste 3 tequilas plus snacks Friday Progressive Dinner - 7pm - Four course menu at 4 restaurants plus cocktails/wine at each- dedicated tram for the group- $1300 pesos. (Different restaurants/courses than the Wednesday Progressive Dinner.) Daily Happy Hours - They are 12-1 and 4-5 at the pools (MP may be 1-2 this year)
Other Fun Stuff:
Last, for the Superbowl this year (Feb 1 2015) There is a party with 4 big screens and several smaller screens in the Grand Bliss lobby. Open bar and snacks. $550 pesos. 5pm til the game ends.
- Free Garden Tour
- Fee Back of the House Tour. Note: The back of the House Tour is not being held for the next couple weeks because they have a lot of new employees being trained in that area but they will restart the tours after that is done.
- We highly recommend the Progressive Dinners. We went last year and this year and had a blast. Last year we had 18 people on the "tour", this year it was 10.

To your point, we will also do something to relieve your frustration: We will ceate a section devoted to current promotions and events. Of course, we will do so with the caveate that some information may be out of date because management may make changes that are not communicated down the line. But, we pledge to do our best.
